Java are an acoustic duo with a distinctive twist, featuring vocalist Jules Manning and guitarist Jim Kelleher. Both are seasoned professional musicians with many years experience on the live music circuit. Together, they perform a wide selection of well known, classic and contemporary songs, using innovative loop pedals and live percussion to create a surprisingly full sound.

Their unique approach to performing makes them not only entertaining to listen to but also intriguing to watch, and they deliver this with a real sense of humour and fun. First they use the loop station to lay down backing live as the audience watches, then they seamlessly layer their own performances on top often adding yet more layers as the song progresses. Half the fun for the audience is in trying to guess the song while the loop is being set then seeing whether you're right.
