Jim is truly a seasoned professional and has been playing for 27 years both in function bands at corporate events and as a solo artist specialising in instrumental acoustic and classical guitar. As a full time musician, Jim performs regularly, as well as doing sessions for musical projects, and providing guitar tuition and private recording work from his home-based studio. Somewhat of a one man band, his instruments include guitar, bass, piano, mandolin and various types of percussion. Thanks to his skill on numerous instruments he often creates arrangements for vocalists and recording projects, playing all the parts required himself. His skills come in handy for creating the imaginative backing loops synonymous with acoustic project Java in which he performs with singer Jules Manning.
